Portraits – Technology Solution Associates, LLC
I had the great pleasure of shooting some portraits for the folks at Technology Solution Associates, LLC for their website and possibly other media. There was a lot going on in the office that morning – I won’t say exactly what, but the leisurely shoot that I was planning was being condensed.
I got there to set up at 7:30am and was ready to go at 8:15am. Lights up, backdrop up, and everything dialed in to start shooting all done solo, so I thought I was doing pretty good. Luckily, I was all set so I could get the 6 portraits done in about 10 minutes. Meta from the first, 8:21; the last, 8:31. I decided to also make a quick “social media” aspect ratio this time. Not a huge deal just being square, but hopefully this will save time in uploading there new pictures!
I only had about 8 ft in width to work with and about 10 ft in length so I had to make some compromises in lens and setup. Only a reflector on the one side and had to use the Nikon 105mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor Lens . On the plus side, I happened to see a box of the flourescent lights that they use and it had the K-temp output listed which allowed me to quickly dial in the white balance. If you can, using the K-temp is a great way to go to make post production a lot easier on yourself.
