Sunrise on the Deck

It’s hard to believe that it was so warm a few days ago… this morning it was 34 degrees. The forecast for tomorrow is snow. Seriously? Oh well. Winter’s coming whether we like it or not. The sunrise was beautiful this morning… it went from a dark orange to pink to soft gold, all within a half hour. I opted for the silhouette of the trees to give more attention to the sky.

Did you get to see the sunrise in Lancaster county today? Or the sunrise where you live? Maybe you only caught it in the mirror on your way to work. If you did, leave me a link in the comments. I’d like to organize a world sunrise photo day someday… everyone takes a picture at the same time (relative to their timezone). A massive collage could be made showing what we all see at the given moment. Better yet, I should travel the world and do it myself! :)
